It’s official—Bearaby now carries queen- and king-sized Ocean, Cotton, and Tree Nappers.
Every member of our team has at least one Bearaby blanket. The company was founded by Kathrin Hamm after she read about the sleep-supporting effects of weighted blankets, tried one for herself, and felt she could drastically improve upon it.
The average weighted blanket is filled with synthetic plastic beads, which slide around and distribute themselves in a decidedly uneven fashion. The result? A blanket that’s disproportionately weighted with a mind of its own.
Bearaby uses a proprietary, woven design that not only looks gorgeous but stays in place and ensures that each blanket evenly carries its weight. Not to mention, the materials they use (cotton, eucalyptus-based TENCEL™, eco-velvet) are all responsibly sourced.
It’s rare to find a company that doesn’t just use “eco-friendly” as a branding tactic but weaves sustainability into the fabric of their business (pun intended). Bearaby is one of the good ones. It’s really no wonder that Bearaby Nappers were named “Best Weighted Blanket” by both Sleep Foundation and Tuck.
Meet The King & Queen
The original Bearaby weighted blanket comes in 10lb, 15lb, 20lb, and 25lb, but even the latter (coming in at 48” x 72”) is only large enough to cover a Full bed. Those dimensions are ideal for a throw blanket to cuddle with on the couch, but slightly inconvenient for bedtime on a larger mattress.
Enter, Bearaby’s latest achievement: the king- and queen-sized weighted blankets.
The King Weighted Blanket is now officially available as a 25lb blanket with the dimensions 76” x 80”. The Queen Weighted Blanket is 20lb and 60” x 80” (perfect for covering a queen-sized bed).
Both of these new XL sizes are available in Bearaby’s three top product lines: The Ocean Hugger, The Cotton Weighted Blanket, and the Tree Napper.
The Cotton Napper
Bearaby uses cotton that is Fairtrade International certified, organic, and farmed using 90% less water than the average cotton on the market. Their original weighted blanket was made with cotton, and you know what they say—nothing beats an original.
Pricing
The Cotton Napper starts at $199
Queen Cotton Napper – $369 $332 for a limited time
King Size Cotton Napper – $419 $377 for a limited time
The Ocean Hugger
This blanket is named for the resource it protects in the production process. Each blanket is made from 100% GRS-certified recycled polyester and saves 600 (!) plastic bottles from polluting our oceans. Not that you’d ever be able to tell… the bottles are broken down and spun into a silky-soft fabric that’s unlike any we’ve experienced before (and our personal favorite).
The all-new Bearaby Ocean Hugger starts at $279 $251 for a limited time (King & Queen size only)
The Tree Napper
This award-winning iteration of the Bearaby Napper is made with TENCEL™, a eucalyptus-based (and high-key revolutionary) fabric. It requires 90% less water to farm than the average fabric, it’s naturally cooling, and it’s 100% sustainable.
Pricing
Tree Napper starts at $239 $215 for a limited time
Queen size Tree Napper – $399 $359 for a limited time
King Size Cotton Weighted Blanket – $449 $404 for a limited time
TLDR; You‘ll Improve Your Sleep With a Bearaby
These new queen- and king-sized Bearaby weighted blankets taut everything we love about the originals and they’re spacious enough to cover an entire bed. Excuse us while we order one for every person we know.
Gifting season could not have come at a better time… at least half of our team is planning on presenting their parents with the ginormous, on-demand hug that Bearaby Nappers have been likened to.
The results of Deep Touch Pressure have to be experienced to be believed. Give yourself the gift of easy, restorative sleep—we all deserve it—with one of Bearaby’s legendary Cotton, Tree, and/or Ocean blankets… now available in queen- and king-sized dimensions.
