Trust Us: These Will Sell Out FAST
There’s nothing wrong with expressing what you want. In fact, the likelihood that you’ll get it increases when you do. Take, for example, Cadence’s latest release: the The Violet Edit. Purple is the 2nd-most requested color by the biggest fans of Cadence. Now, thanks to us—er, them—we have a whole new line of capsules to peruse.
New to Cadence?
We’ll get you up to speed. Cadence is a second generation AAPI woman-owned company, in the business of making reusable, TSA-approved travel containers. Founder Steph Hon is devoted to producing durable, intentionally designed products, and her award-winning Travel Capsules certainly deliver. Made with recycled plastic, magnetized, and extremely customizable, Cadence Capsules are unlike any other travel containers on the market. Cadence has racked up over 7,500 5-star reviews and received press coverage from Vogue, The New York Times, Travel + Leisure… (the list goes on). They’ve also received the New York Product Design Award, and in 2022, Cadence was one of TIME’s Best Inventions.
Of course, their use isn’t restricted to travel alone. They make great additions to any journey, big or small: a night out, a sleepover, a gym trip. And the contents inside? There are limitless options, from mints, pills, and jewelry, to lotions, oils, and hair care products.
Why This is BIG
There’s so much to love about Cadence. The size of these screw-on Capsules range from 0.56 oz to 2.75 oz (plus, the Flex Extender adds 1.43 oz to any capsule, although this may make the size surpass TSA restrictions). There are currently more than ten colors to choose from, ranging from the limited edition Neutrals to soft green Eucalyptus and dainty off-white Sand.
One of the most exciting elements of the entire brand is the opportunity to create a System of Capsules all your own, complete with labels, colors, and sizes to accommodate your routine. And that’s why purple is such an exciting addition.
Luscious Lavender
The first of the trio is Lavender, a warm pastel shade in line with some of Cadence’s other classics like Petal and Sand.
Pretty in Periwinkle
Next up is Periwinkle, a soft blue-purple shade that’s as delicate as it is vibrant.
Iris (the Cadence Cover)
And last but certainly not least, Iris is a deep purple with all the depth of the beloved song (we had to make reference).
Options Abound (But Inventory Is Limited)
If you’re lusting after one of these purples in particular, you can absolutely buy an entire set in one shade. But if you’re tied between all of them, or you want to weave in some different Cadence colorways (there are plenty), you can also Build a System or design your own version of The Honeycomb, in which each individual capsule (and label) has its own color. The possibilities are positively endless (and purple).
